• What Others Say . . .

“Lary was an important component in helping us raise our first (oversubscibed) fund at Harbour Group. His doggedness, professionalism, and friendly demeanor helped open doors for what, at the time, was an untested and reasonably new concept. He was a pleasure to work with and remains a friend to this day.”

    Ralph Lobdell, Chairman, Tripos, Inc.

    • What is RSS and how do I get new web posts automatically sent to me?

      So, What is RSS?

RSS, which stands for “Really Simple Syndication”is a simple way to distribute, and thus receive, content across a wide universe of web sites, blogs and other newsprint media. Don’t be daunted by this unfamiliar phrase because it is a very simple procedure to use and will only take you a few minutes to add the Exkalibur web site to your chosen RSS News Reader so that any material or blog posts that are added will automatically be routed to you. You only have to do this once for any particular web site, and you will receive all of the new posts and content pages – automatically – on a regular basis.

In short, an RSS News Reader is an “aggregator” much like your Inbox. You don’t have to look for email from different people in different places because all of it is “aggregated” in your Inbox. Likewise, an RSS News Reader collects all of the new content from your favorite web sites and put it one place for you to look at it when you’re ready. You don’t have to go to 10-15 sites every day to see what’s new but simply turn to your RSS News Reader to see what’s new from all of the sites. It’s that simple.

How do I add a web site to my RSS News Reader?

Here’s how to add the to your chosen RSS News Reader. On the left pane of this Exkalibur web site, you’ll see this graphic bar.

If you click on the “+” sign on the left, you’ll be taken to a page to select from many news reader options and where you’ll most likely find the one you’re using.

Alternatively, if you hold your cursor over that panel, it will expand, as it appears below, and will allow you to select a specific News Reader. That’s all there is to it. Once you’ve added the site, any new posts from The Daily Bull or other content changes from the Exkalibur web site will automatically appear there.

Popular RSS News Readers on the web – or your computer

There are several popular web and program RSS News Readers. I’ve identified a few of them below, each of which is available for selection from the box above. You only have to select the Exkalibur web site once using your chosen your RSS News Reader and the regular updates will be sent automatically to you. All of these are very simple to use but I’ve added a simple step-by-step approach for Google as an example.

      Google example
